06.23.09 Well hello everyone! Sorry it's been a while but we have been real busy getting the new album ready for release which may we add is so close now it's getting really exciting!
It's been a long journey with so many friends and talented people helping along the way (Francis has done such an amazing job once again and so has Brett Kull with the mastering)..it's almost as sad as it is amazing that it is finally finished but we are so proud of it and we hope you all enjoy it as much as we do!
We are here to let you know that the ALL NEW johnandwayne.com is now up and running! Go check it out and keep checking in for all the latest news! There is also a blog page on there you can subscribe to so give it a whirl and you will receive new blogs as soon as they are published. There is the shop page where you can buy our first album and t shirts and very soon our new album 'Cumbrian at Heart'!
We will be staying with Facebook and Myspace but it will be our main point of call from now on!
Before we go we would like to thank Erica Brilhart for all of her help and expertise with the design and getting it up and running. Also to Lee Halbert for helping with transfering the old site to the new and believe me it was a bloody nightmare! I don't want to hear FTP or URL or discussion pages ever again! Although I must admit I have learned quite a bit about websites....a real crash course!

John & Wayne are two Cumbrian carpenters with a passion for music. They were working around the UK in 2001 when they joined Aquarian Nation and recorded their debut album 'Nearly Killed Keith'. The lyrics tell the story of life away from home working on dreary building sites when all the while they were just wanting to live their childhood dream of being musicians. As soon as the album was released they began a busy touring schedule with the likes of Francis Dunnery, Chris Difford, Glenn Tilbrook, Paul Young, Belinda Carlisle, Homespun and Marti Pellow. They are currently working on their second album which will hopefully be recorded this summer. More tour dates are to be added soon.
